• FETA - The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations website has a comprehensive listing of useful links to other trade and governmental organizations, as well as its own sections for the BRA (the British Refrigeration Association), HEVAC (the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association) and HPA (the Heat Pump Association). • Institute of Refrigeration - The Institute was founded in 1899 as the Cold Storage and Ice Association and is the oldest national society of mechanical refrigeration in the world. In 1944 qualified membership was introduced in order to raise the status of the association and of those engaged in the science and practice of refrigeration, and the present name of the Institution of Refrigeration was adopted. • DEFRA - The UK Government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is involved in various waste regulations that affect our industry.
• European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE) - A broad-based grouping of responsible companies, national associations and European associations active in the European air-conditioning, heat pump and refrigeration industry.
