Number 1 distributor of LG Air Conditioning - for 3 years in a row.

For the third consecutive year, Thermofrost Cryo were crowned the number one UK distributor of LG air conditioning systems.

Four years of continuous sales growth have resulted in the Company achieving the hat trick: number one UK Distributor of LG air conditioning in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

2005 promises to be an exciting year, with all of our R407c LG air conditioning systems changing to new models using refrigerant R410A, to maximize performance and efficiency.

Cassettes, ducted and convertible (floor or ceiling mounted) units will share a new 'Universal' R410A outdoor unit. This heat pump unit will be available with either a fixed speed compressor, or with an inverter driven compressor in systems from 5.2 to 17.6 kw.

R410A is also used in the new Multi-V Plus range of VRF systems. Initially the range will consist of 4.5 and 10HP systems, with a choice of either 2 pipe or 3 pipe (heat recovery). In addition to the standard vertical discharge style of outdoor unit, LG will also offer a unit with both return and discharge on the front face, making the unit suitable for mounting in a plant room. All outdoor units will be three phase inverter driven.

Following the principals of the existing multi-systems, which allow a variety of different styles of indoor unit to be mixed on the same outdoor unit, the VRF systems will offer combinations of ducted, cassette, Artcool, hi-wall and convertible to be used on the same system. LG R410A VRF systems will be available from March 2005.

A range of interchangeable fronts for the popular Artcool indoor units are now available, allowing a variety of colours and finishes to be selected to suit different interior decors. The mirror fronted units are also available with inverter driven compressors, with nominal duties of 2.6 and 3.5 kW
