KD Scroll - revised noise ratings

Following testing by an independent laboratory, the noise ratings for the popular KD Scroll range of low noise packaged condensing units have been revised - in most cases downwards.

• Models 1PAL015M, 1PAL020M and 1PAL025M are now rated at 32 dB(A) compared to the previous rating of 38, a significant reduction of 6 dB(A).

• Models 1PAL030M, 1PAL035M and 1PAL040M, and 1PAL030L, 1PAL035L and 1PAL040L are now rated at 39 dB(A), compared to the previous rating of 42, a reduction of 3 dB(A).

• All PAUP models are now rated at 40 dB(A), compared to the previous rating of 39, a small increase of 1 dB(A).

All figures quoted are at 10 meters in free field conditions, with fans running at maximum speed. These are the normal conditions at which noise levels are quoted for this type of refigeration unit in the UK.

KD Scroll units are designed for outdoor installation and are fully weatherproof, with a powder coated galvanised steel housing and Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating on the condenser coil.

All KD Scroll units are factory fitted with condenser fan speed control, drier, sight glass, adjustable pressure switches, external liquid and suction valves, liquid receiver, mains isolator, compressor contactor and overload.
