LG Mirror units in newly converted house
July 2003
LG Mirror units in newly converted house.
We have recently supplied six new Artcool Mirror heat pumps for
a stable block near Mobberley in Cheshire that has been converted
into modern home.
Four units are installed in the living areas while another two
cool a state-of-the art audio-visual entertainment room. Introduced
in May of this year, the Mirror is a new addition to the Artcool
family, a range of LG products that breaks new ground in the styling
of wall mounted split systems.
With a capacity of 3.5 kW cooling (3.6kW in heat pump mode) the
Mirror features a mirrored front facia, with a discrete LED display
set into it giving the temperature setting and other information.
The mirror finish is designed to reflect the interior setting, and
in the case of this particular installation, it also reflects the
sky above.
Other features include Plasma electronic air filtration, Gold Fin
extended life coil protection for the outdoor unit, and high energy
efficiency arising from the use of refrigerant R410A. The stable
conversion, carried out by local builders August Blake, has been
nominated for "Cheshire New Build of the Year".
