New Kuba cooler range offers quality and value

April 2006
German cooler manufacturer Kuba has launched its new "Green Line"
of refrigeration coolers, which are available in the UK from Thermofrost
Cryo Plc.
The Green Line consists of four models of cooler, to suit a variety
of refrigeration applications. All are optimised to offer top performance,
quality and value.
The new Junior DF is a low profile ceiling mounted cooler for use
in small walk in cold rooms, providing refrigeration capacities
up to 2.1 kw. Fitted with a horizontal drain connection, which can
be rotated through 360 degrees in 90 degree steps, the maximum installed
height is only 180 mm.
For higher capacities, the Compact DF offers up to 10.0 kw refrigeration
capacity, again ceiling mounted, with hinged drip tray and removable
side panels for ease of access. Air flow has been carefully designed
to ensure maximum throw, without compromising the compact dimensions.
For larger cold rooms, supermarkets and refrigerated warehouses,
the new Market Plus SP cooler is a ceiling mounted cubic style cooler,
available for capacities up to 52 kw. Kuba's unique CAL distributor
is fitted to maximise refrigeration efficiency. The SP can also
be fitted with a number of accessories, for example air straighteners
to extend the air throw, adaptors for textile socks, and hinged
drip trays.
The fourth new model in the Green Line, the Comfort DP, is a ceiling
mounted dual discharge cooler designed for use in working areas
where draft free cooling is required. These offer low air velocities,
and are fitted with two speed fans to reduce the noise level, with
a third "extremely quiet" speed available by fitting an accessory
kit. With capacities up to 28 kw, they are designed for use in the
range 0 to +20 degrees C.
All Green Line coolers use a new optimised coil block design, which
was designed using a unique computer modelling programme.
They are fitted with smooth, white scratch resistant powder coated
external panels to resist corrosion and comply with hygiene and
HACCP guidelines.
All major parts are easily accessible for installation and servicing,
and defrost heaters are mounted in heater tubes within the coil
block for quick, reliable defrosting. Internal coil cleanliness
is to DIN8964.
