Hitachi appoints Thermofrost Cryo as a stocking distributor

Hitachi has announced a major change within its UK distribution network for its range of DX split system and VRF air conditioning equipment.

With effect from January '09 Thermofrost Cryo have been appointed as a stocking distributor of Hitachi split system and VRF equipment, covering the whole of the UK from our branches in Birmingham, Manchester and London.

Thermofrost Cryo have been operating since 1972 and we offer a complete solution for both air conditioning & refrigeration contractors, covering capital equipment and all ancillaries.

Our business model fulfills a clear objective for Hitachi, that of offering a premium logistics and technical support service to the contractor.

The Hitachi product range is very extensive and offers a full range of inverter driven systems including a very versatile range of multi-splits (single outdoor, multiple indoors) and both 2 pipe and 3 pipe VRF systems. The single split systems are all inverter driven, and all have the option of a hard wired controller in addition to the normal infra red. And the new Yutaki heat pump is the ideal solution for domestic heating.

The Hitachi products are complimentary to our existing range from LG, and we believe the two offer our customers an excellent choice of product for 2009 and beyond.

We shall however phase out supply of Toshiba air conditioning. As the warranty on all Toshiba products is held by Toshiba UK we do not anticipate any difficulties for past customers, and all spares will continue to be available from us. Additions Points will not be applicable to any sales of Toshiba from January 2009.
