2 year warranty on Kuba

Thermofrost Cryo are pleased to announce that we now offer a 2 year (24 month) warranty on all Küba coolers and condensers.

This extended warranty period reflects the confidence we have in these excellent products, and our commitment to customer service.

With the exception of the 24 month period, all other warranty terms remain as per our published Terms and Conditions of Sale, details of which can be found in our Commercial Refrigeration price list, on this website under the section "the company", and on the reverse of all our invoices.

Please note that any warranty claim for a Kuba cooler, condenser or part thereof must be accompanied by a warranty returns form giving full details including the serial number of the product. This can be found on the data plate attached to product, and is described as the manufacturing number.

Küba manufacture a wide range of evaporators, condensers and dry coolers for HFC, HCFC, carbon dioxide, secondary and ammonia refrigerants.

Commercial coolers are divided into two distict ranges, the GREEN LINE and the BLUE LINE. The GREEN LINE coolers are designed for standard applications where a cost effective solution is required, whereas the BLUE LINE offer the ultimate performance in the most difficult or critical applications.

Küba evaporators offer a number of features, including the patented CAL refrigerant distributor, which is designed to provide an even distribution of refrigerant throughout the coil and providing a stable superheat control. This maximises the performance and capacity of the cooler whilst at the same time avoiding an uneven build-up of frost, so improving energy efficiency in both cooling and defrosting modes of operation. The coils themselves are designed with a high secondary to primary surface area, and all defrost heaters are enclosed within tubes inside the coil block to reduce heater creep and improve reliability.

Küba also offer their own 'Defrost on Demand' system, the Kübatron QKL. When connected to the cooler this instigates and controls defrost to reduce the energy consumption in excess of 20%.

The condenser range offers low noise options, and ranges from 13 kW upwards. The largest Küba condensers are limited in size only by the dimensions of a 40 foot articulated trailer!
