New refrigeration products

A number of new products for refrigeration applications are available from September 2001.

• Housed scroll condensing units. We are now offering the TQ range of housed outdoor air cooled condensing units fitted with Copeland scroll compressors. The vertical design is similar to that commonly seen used for the outdoor unit of a split system air conditioner, offering a conveniently small footprint. The range consists of medium temperature units from 3 to 10 hp, and low temperature units from 3 to 13 hp. All are designed for use with refrigerant R404a and a three phase electrical supply. Noise levels are below 40 dBA @ 10 m.

• Küba dual discharge coolers. The existing DPA range with 4.2 mm fin spacing has been expanded by adding the DPB with 6.2 mm spacing. Finished in white, all models are single phase and are fitted with 3 speed fan motors. We show capacities at the maximum speed, if wired for a lower speed these will obviously be reduced. Unusually, prices are the same with or without electric defrost heaters so we recommend ordering the electric defrost version.
• Tandem Maneurop compressors. These replace the 8 cylinder models, covering the same range from 17 hp ( 2 x 8.5 hp) to 26 hp (2 x 13 hp). In this price list we show the ester models for R134a, R404a, R507 and R407c but we can also supply mineral oil versions to replace old 8 cylinder models running on R22 or R502. All tandems are three phase.
