New Maneurop refrigeration scroll condensing units

Thermofrost Cryo have announced the availability of two new ranges
of refrigeration condensing units using the new MLZ scroll compressors.
The units are available in two formats, a "conventional" refrigeration
condensing unit called Optyma MGUD and a housed packaged unit called
Optyma Plus MPUC.
These new units compliment the existing range of Maneurop units
that use reciprocating compressors.
The Optyma MGUD units (shown above) cover nominal refrigeration
duties from 5 to 25 kw and are multi-refrigerant, that is they are
suitable for use with R404A, R134a, R507 and even R22. Supplied
complete with crankcase heater, HP/LP switch, service valves and
pre-wired terminal box, they have two condenser fans for a low profile.
The Optyma Plus MPUC (shown below) again offer nominal duties from
5kw to 25kw, but are aimed at use with R404A and are fully packaged
in a weatherproof housing. The specification includes condenser
fan speed control, HP/LP, liquid line drier, sightglass, liquid
and suction valves, electrical isolator and compressor contactor.
Low noise levels are a feature of the Optyma Plus, making them
suitable for outside installations in noise sensitive applications.
The MLZ hermetic compressor is a highly energy efficient design,
achieved by the use of a hybrid wrap scroll design driven by a very
efficient motor, protected by a patented HOOP overload protector.
