Quiet systems for cellar cooling
October 2002
For applications where noise levels must be kept to a minimum,
we have introduced new versions of our Cellartemp cellar cooling
systems. By using a new style condensing unit, noise levels of between
40 and 41 dBA are achieved for the outdoor unit when measured at
10 meters.
A choice of 8 matched Cellartemp Quiet systems provide cooling
duties from 2,900 to 7,000 watts, suiting cellar sizes from 38 to
123 cubic meters (1,350 to 4,350 cubic feet). All systems are single
phase and use refrigerant R404A. All systems also include built
in electrical space heating, with auto changeover from cooling to
heating as necessary.
Like the established Cellartemp Compact systems, Cellartemp Quiet
uses a pump down system to avoid the need for interconnecting wiring
between the condensing unit and the cellar cooler.
This reduces the installation time required and allows the CTP
cellar cooler to be run from a local 13 amp spur.
