Back to News Home New Trade Counter and offices open at RCLOctober 2004 After an extensive program of building work, our subsidiary Refrigerator Components Ltd (RCL) has moved into a new facility in their former offices at 530 Stretford Road, Manchester, just 2 doors away from the old trade counter at 534. The layout of the building has been completely altered to create a large trade counter on the ground floor, complete with refreshments, seating area and product displays. Upstairs a new suite of offices completes the comprehensive refurbishment, which has transformed the premises to a modern, attractive facility. The address of the new Trade Counter is 530 Stretford Road, Manchester M16 9AF. Telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged. At the same time the small RCL Trade Counter facility in Colwyn Bay closes at the end of October, coinciding with the retirement of Ken Evans, who has run the branch for many years. Local customers will continue to be supplied from Manchester. NEWS UPDATE
The new RCL trade counter was officially opened by actor Ken Morley on December 13th 2004. A large number of customers and suppliers enjoyed a free buffet while Ken, who played supermarket manager Reg Holdsworth in the TV soap "Coronation Street", signed autographs and chatted.
