Record sales in July

August 2006

The Company recorded a record sales month in July 2006, with sales exceeding the previous record month by 8%.

Sales were strong across the entire product range, in both the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors. Significant sales successes were recorded for low noise refrigeration condensing units, electronic service replacement controllers, fan motors and LG split systems.

Unfortunately July also saw the implementation of a number of price increases for refrigeration products, the result of the dramatic increases in the cost of raw materials (copper, aluminium, steel and oil) experienced by our manufacturers and which they (and we) had no option but to pass on. Details of these increases were circulated at the end of June; additional copies are available from our offices on request.
