LG aircon units keep clubbers cool
December 2003
The Syndicate Super Club, winner of the prestigious BEDA (Bar Entertainment
and Dance Association) "UK Club of the Year 2003" has installed
six LG heat pumps in it's new third level. The new level houses
a new part of the club called simply "STATUS".
With a capacity of 600, STATUS is a club "for the more sophisticated
clubber" says Managing Director Mike Nordwind. "On the recommendation
of our contractor Allcool (NW) Ltd, we chose LG heat pumps for their
looks and reputation, and we are absolutely delighted with their
performance". All the heat pumps were supplied by Thermofrost Cryo
Plc.
Owned and run by the Nordwind family, the club opened in December
2002 in the former ABC cinema in Church Street, Blackpool, and entertained
400,000 clubbers in it's first 11 months.
Able to accommodate 5,000 clubbers on three levels, the Syndicate
Superclub is the largest club in the U.K. and boasts a custom built
Ohm sound system which alone cost £1/2 million out of the £5 million
invested in the Superclub!
