Birmingham warehouse extension
February 2001

We have recently completed a substantial extension to our warehouse
in Birmingham.
The investment was prompted by our distribution agreement with
the fast growing split system air conditioning manufacturer LG Electronics,
and provides considerable additional storage space for those products.
Another recent new product range, coolers and condenser from German
heat exchange manufacturer Küba, will also benefit from the additional
warehousing capacity.
Custom designed by architects Robert Seager and constructed by
Birmingham builders William Sapcote and Sons, construction commenced
in October 2000 and was completed on time at the end of January
2001. Occupying almost 5,000 ft2 , the new extension towers over
the existing warehouse as a result of an increased eaves height
to accommodate high level pallet racking in order to maximise storage
space.
