AWP Ball valves KV
In ball valves the locking device is a perforated ball. Horizontal rotation of the ball opens and closes the pipe.
AWP ball valves are shut-off valves which are designed for installation in the refrigerant cycles of industrial refrigeration systems. The locking device is a perforated ball that opens and closes the pipe by horizontal rotation that is exerted via the shaft. The 90°-rotation is eiter done by a hand-operated lever or by electric or pneumatic actuators. By default the clearance of the perforation in the ball is reduced compared to the diameter of the pipe. Versions with full clearance are available upon request.
Technical features:
- Available in steel or stainless steel
- Selection of body material as per German DIN EN12284, AD2000 Series W
- Working media: refrigerant EN 378 p. 1, e.g. NH3, R22, R134a and blends with refrigerator oil; neutral, gas and liquid media; glycol-based cold brine
- The perforated ball is equipped with a vent hole and closes tight only in the flow direction
- Actuation either by hand-operated lever or by electric or pneumatic actuators
