AWP Filter drier
Filters equipped with replaceable filter blocks made of an adesiccant mass to protect refrigeration and air conditioning systems from moisture, dirt, acids, oil decomposition products and sludge sediments.
AWP filter driers are equipped with filter blocks which can be easily replaced by opening the cover. The blocks are held in position by the so-called filter carrier which is also designed as a sieve. The liquid refrigerant enters the filter through the side entry nozzle side and flows from the outside to the inside through the filter blocks as well as through the filter carrier. The filter blocks consist of adesiccant mass based on molecular sieve aluminum oxide. AWP filter driers are designed for use in pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems with fluorinated refrigerants as well as a cleaning drier on the suction side. They can be installed in systems that operate within an output range between 35 and 465 kW to protect the system from moisture, dirt, acids, oil decomposition products and sludge sediments. The dimensions of the filter blocks comply with international standards.
