Thermofrost Cryo Ltd regret to announce that Peter Canning passed away on 17th April 2023, aged 61.
After taking A levels at school and later gaining a Higher BTEC in Mechanical Engineering, Peter worked as a draughtsman in the heating industry before moving into developing and testing cellar equipment. Thereafter, he moved to Air Trembath Ltd for seven years, where he was involved in the design and technical support of dehumidification and refrigeration equipment. He joined Thermofrost in 2002, completing 21 years of unbroken service.
Peter worked at the Thermofrost London office as an air conditioning technical support engineer. In this role, he became an expert in application engineering, pre/post-sale support, troubleshooting and spare parts selection.
Outside work, Peter was interested in motorsport, swimming and was a keen supporter of Wimbledon F.C.
As well as a valued employee, Peter was a true Gentleman and will be very much missed by colleagues, customers and suppliers alike.
